Really! Maybe it would have been a good idea to check with the solicitor BEFORE issuing the proclamation. LNP reports on this negative issue but does nothing to investigate the Elanco agreement mess. It seems like this is another public embarrassment for the taxpayers of Columbia.
We sure do look like a bunch of fools I bet the once that run the venue's are laughing at us better get them out of town fast and do it right the next time.
Are you kidding me. I would have thought, no I would have expected, the Mayor to seek the advise of the solicitor before making such a move. Unbelievable.
Its all good down on locust street!! He can't do whatever he wants that meaning the Mayor "LUTZ" Who in the hell does he think he is fooling! He is all bull and no horns!!
The Mayor deals with a lot, especially a lot from those who hide behind anonymous Blogs, give new businesses a chance, otherwise create your own business then, don't say something do something.
Apparently we will never know. I cannot find any name or condition of the victim that was said to be in Hershey Medical Center. Nearly a week later and the second victim has not (publicly) been named!
There is nothing wrong with new businesses as long as they follow the guide lines. Did Venues follow is hard to say. As for being business friendly, look as Kleen Rite is moving their warehouse operations out of Columbia to Mt Joy area How much was the borough willing to assist them in staying in town. At least their offices will still be here.

It seems our borough solicitor is too liberal when it comes to issues like this and condemning properties.Come on Robert, get tough.

It's not the solicitor..it a little thing called due process. I would not to live in a land without it!
Did anyone die in the shooting?
The land lord is responsible for his or her tenants! Why in the hell is this not being done!! Go to the LAND LORD!! THE LAND LORD!!!

The landlord was named, as needing to comply, on the zoning enforcement notice that was posted on the doors.
