Wilson Affeld had his work cut out for him this morning, arriving at Columbia Crossing to find a huge number of mayflies on the front porch area. Affeld said the eggs are waxy and slippery. House sparrows were sighted feeding their young along the 300 block of Avenue H a few weeks ago. House Sparrows eat insects and feed them to their young.
