This troubadour serenaded passers-by at River Park Thursday evening, when the weather was mild. Unfortunately, heat and humidity are forecast to rise today and tomorrow, leading to a sweltering weekend.

JUST READ COLUMBIA NEWS AND REVIEWS. the Boro Council committee mtg of the whole on Monday July 27 at 6 pm is a "PUBLIC MEETING ON THE BUILDING OF THE SEWER TRANSFER STATION AND MAIN LINE THAT LASA WILL BE BUILDING. I FOR ONE CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS OK....BEINGS THE ENTIRE AREA WAS INDIAN LAND. I CAN NOT IMAGINE THAT THERE AREN'T ANY ARTIFACTS OR BURIAL GROUNDS........

This entire area was Indian land. Sorry, but time and progress march on.
I hope that the contractors doing the digging are sensitive to any items they may uncover and turn them over to the historic society promptly.
