New dayglo uniforms for parking enforcement officers

Parking enforcement officers were recently issued new dayglo uniforms, as shown above.  The new outfits look professional and give officers more visibility in traffic but also allow nonpaying motorists to see them coming.

Nothing encourages downtown visitors quite like having a ticket under your wiper when you return.

sad but true. unfortunately, the hundreds of rental downtown do NOT have parking and therefore, without meters, there would be NO where to park anyway. its a sad day in the Boro that Boro mgmt doesn't change the code or whatever and REQUIRE off street parking for ALL rental properties. Make it mandatory. the Boro should step up to the plate and come up witha program to ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! come up with bags to cover meters for all downtown business. there should NOT be meters on 4th Fridays from 5 to 9. it's s sin. figure it out and require off street parking for all these rentals. isn't there anything the Boro can do for the hundreds more properties (single family homes) being sold and turned into rentals?????

You mean like this one "requesting special exception(s) and/or variance(s) to convert an existing dwelling into a 2-unit dwelling on the property " ...

Why did we have to up the price to park? People who come to town to go to the shops don't want to.worry.about there meters. At least there could be free parking on Sat.

yes. i certainly hope the Boro is not ignorant enough to approve this. if they do we need to run ALL Councillors and Boro mgmt out of town.

there SHOULD be free parking saturdays...but only for shoppers and diners NOT renters/tenants.

Yes, because the councillors have something to do with this... The blame game in its glory.

Probably wouldn't be enforceable. Besides - how would you tell the difference?
