The borough pretreated its streets with an anti-icing product this afternoon in anticipation of inclement weather. The product helps keep snow and ice from adhering to the road surface and makes it easier to remove. The forecast is for snow showers tonight and into tomorrow, with continued sub-freezing temps.

Heads up Columbia, someone finally used their head and made a GREAT decision. Didn't think anyone in Boro Management had the know how to think.
Obviously it wasnt your idea, im sure you didnt show up to council and throw the idea out there??

I'm sure the idea was not original to this borough, they saw it done elsewhere and then decided to give it a try. Now I hope they figure out the cost and if it worked well enough to continue the process throughout the winter.
