A well-known nonprofit group has ended its children’s dental program so it can shift its focus to education and pediatric behavioral health services.
CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health ended its 14-year-old dental program March 1. It had primarily served families that had difficulty obtaining care elsewhere.
The change has school districts that referred students to its dental clinics in Columbia and East Lampeter Township seeking alternatives.

Listening to their phone message, it looks like CHI pulled a fast one on those with dental needs. Their organization appears to have endless funds available so why strip dental care away from those that need the service? Why not simply add the other services? Now they are setting up shop in our Market House in addition to childcare center at 401 Locust Street. Vagabonds.
