This photo of the Ford's Theatre van on Locust Street looking for artifacts. Indeed they are, and they frequent Columbia for antiques on a routine basis.
I got to meet the two buyers for Ford's Theatre at the Burning Bridge Antiques last fall and asked them what brings them to Columbia. The female buyer told me that Columbia is the best place to purchase antiques for props for the Ford's Theatre productions. Such a landmark place, so far away, sees Columbia as a destination to do business.
This is extremely important for the income of the antiques shops, restaurants and stores in Columbia, PA. Understanding that people from all over the country with money to spend in Columbia, is Business 101 and our future investors.

As from the famous Kevin Costners quote from the movie, "Field of Dreams".

"If you build it, he will come"!
