Mystery bird

Although I only had my point 'n' shoot camera with me at the time, I was lucky enough to get these shots of this bird at River Park on Tuesday afternoon.  I'm not sure of the species. It might be a sharp shinned hawk . . .

  1. Clearly an alligator in disguise. It's dangerous down by the river. Please be careful.

    1. The head resembles that of a goshawk, as do the markings, so it could be one. I estimate it at about 14".
