More on Columbia shooting

Columbia police said they are looking for a suspect who may have been involved in a deadly shooting Wednesday night.

Police said they consider Mario Casanova-Lanzo, 36, armed and dangerous. Police are warning the public to be cautious if they see him.

Investigators said one man was found shot to death in a home along the 200 block of North Third Street Wednesday night at 10:16. They said other people were inside of the home at the time of the shooting and identified Casanova-Lanzo. Police would not release any details on what sparked the shooting.

If you have any information that could help police with this investigation, you're asked to give them a call.

these transients who come here for all the freebies, free schools for their kids, section 8 freee housing, food stamps, free medical care/card, etc.........make a real bad name for OUR town. we MUST step up to the plate and make some changes. first being, CREATE A TAX FOR EVERY RENTER THAT HAS CHOLDREN ATTENDING OUR SCHOOLS---why should they get this luxury for free???????
