great news. but ain't it awesome that the boro will buy even more equipment....maybe just maybe u should spend some money on educating the residents and trash haulers about recycling....look around town, do u really see the majority of residents recycling? it's NEVER about the residents, always about what u need.what u want. what u gonna do.regardless.

really? like the boro needs more equipment??? maybe give a recycling container to all the residents to encourage recycling???our landfills are full....the earth is dying.

From the article "In addition, the three townships will use some of the state funds to pay for public education about recycling." But as someone above observed, "the boro needs more equipment."

really? the Boro needs an overhaul....STOP spending.

the Boro needs to spend some of that money educating the public about recycling....plaster recycling info EVERYWHERE..make it slap you in the face...everywhere you turn...trash is killing our Earth. especially plastic, aluminum, glass, metals....none of it breaks down.

You're right. Some people aren't getting the message. Lots of trash on the sidewalks, in the alleys and gutters. Also in the wooded area above the north side of the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

the boro has got to find a way to not only educate people, but to get people to take pride in their town too. if u see trash on the sidewalk, pick it up....if trash is in your street, do the same. get ur brooms and shovels out, sweep ur sidewalks every week the day before street sweeper comes..use shovel to pick up all trash and put it into ur trash bags. spark ian interest in the kids. run a contest, take pics, give small prizes...how hard is it???? doing nothing is getting old boro.

it doesn't have to hard. while they are at it-they MUST FIND A WAY TO RECYCLE/TURN IN/OLD PRESCRIPTION MEDS AND OVER THE COUNTER MEDS....MAYBE A MAIL BOX ON A CORNER DOWNTOWN (like Mountivlle does for used American flags)....WHAT a GREAT IDEA.. do something GOOD for the town-instead of spending the money we DON"T have

hey that's a GREAT idea...now get it to the people who CAN do something about it!!!

hey thats a great idea! i wish i had thought of it....we really MUST find a way to turn in old prescriptions and over the counter meds.....every town needs to do this.
