The trail is closed for paving - or is it?

According to several official sources, the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail was to have been closed from the Wrights Ferry Bridge to a point in Marietta for paving, as of last Wednesday, May 11. However, the trail has been open, unpaved, for the last few days, including today, Sunday, with no sign of paving equipment at either end - Columbia or Marietta. Many visitors having been taking advantage of the open, unpaved, trail.

Or, you know, maybe wait for a week where it isn't raining every day.

No, actually they are hoping it will be completed before Memorial Day weekend. I'm betting it will be.

Personally I feel it should not be paved, it's a trail,,,,,

I agree to a point that the trail should not be paved, but people that are handicapped in wheelchairs and bikers probably enjoy a paved trail. Either way, go out and enjoy nature and do the trail.
