You heard wrong.

It's cool but it is still not a trolley....it's a bus that looks like a trolley.

Let's hope it goes well and shut the naysayers up!

Imagine if those before us had the foresight to maintain all or at least some of the old county trolley system. We could have one serious light rail system in the county. Guess no one thought green back then.

Hopefully the market STAYS IN THE HANDS OF THE TAXPAYERS.
As people use the Trolley and enjoy the sites listed as stops, remember, there are historic sites and areas all over this town. Be sure not to forget the side streets, old canal system, importance of the railroad, the list goes on.

Yes, keep the building, but get the management of the market out of the hands of the taxpayers! Lease the building to a private entity and let the taxpayers stop bleeding for a change !

I'd rather bleed for a piece of our history.
God knows once it's gone it's gone.
There is waste in other areas that could stop the bleeding.
Council is well aware of it, past and present council members.

It's a win/win - the Borough still keeps long term ownership - but leases the building for 5 or 10 years to a private enterprise that knows how to run a business ! it's a lot less headaches for the Borough - and gives the Borough more time and energy to "stop the bleeding" on other areas as well !!

Sounds good.
