Pennsylvania Sen. Don White proposed a bill last September that would allow school districts to permit their staff to carry firearms in schools.
Senate Bill 1193 would allow school district officials to "establish policy permitting school personnel access to firearms in the buildings or on the grounds of a school" as long as they are properly licensed and certified.
