Did the cameras catch this?

More inane graffiti recently appeared on this bench and elsewhere in Locust Street Park. Did the surveillance cameras catch who did it?
We hope so.

the camera is blind to this type of thing. Just like our police force when it involves this park.

I see new signs where put up in the park with regulations Since the signs went up not much has change. how can the regulations be enforced and the violators be prosecuted when the violators still roam the grounds? On Friday September 18th a group of volunteers clean up the entire park and some graffiti. Hats off to them! However the Park was trash again with litter on Saturday afternoon September 19th. So we had a clean park for about 24 hours. and No littering is on the new sign.

Every single day I see a variety of violations and I firmly believe that the cops see it too, they simply choose to do nothing. I'm not saying that the cops aren't doing their job, I'm saying they ignore a lot.

they take their orders from a supervisor or Chief and Mayor. Not their choice. We ALL have a boss that we must answer too. Go to Boro Council mtg Mon 9/28 at 6:00 and ask the Mayor about it

we all know this. Council and the mayor and the Chief made up the new regulations. Going to a meeting will not help matters because Council gave the police authority to enforce these regulations last November. it's just a darn shame that nothing can done. I for one will start being vigilante. My friend Louisville Slugger will be with me.
