Maybe the mayor is giving a free driveway to one lucky family, he is already trying to give IBS free taxpayer money to begin a new business venture. Funny thing is nobody cares.
You're probably right, Leo loves to give away what is not his to give away! But I have to correct you, people DO care! I went to a council meeting and told them that is not what property tax is to be used for. What did YOU do?
Actually, I also attend council meetings and I say no one cares because only a few residents ever show up. They only show up when an issue directly affects them, they should care about the issues affecting the entire community. In most cases, tax money is used to fund the entire community not just one person's project or agenda. I do not pretend to understand every issue, but I do try to educate myself on the topics at hand.
Look at it now, this last remaining grass alley in Columbia, because it will be buried soon. Will the borough plow this "driveway"? We live in an alley that IS on the map and has a street sign, but the borough hasn't plowed it in the past 7 years.

DeleteThen don't say NOBODY cares and discount those who do.
