Officer Keyser is on the job

Officer Keyser took time to talk to teens today at Locust Street Park.  We hope they were listening.  Thanks, Officer Keyser, for taking the initiative.

This may begin to reduce the tension regarding kids hanging out in the park. Thanks!

The Mayor and Chief keep making promises of foot patrols and bicycle patrols. Hope this is the beginning of a positive police presence. Because these kids will be back.

take note to all the back packs these kids have. The other day I saw a teenager actually making a sandwich with bread, bologna. and a dessert cup he had store on his backpack.

The Mayor and Chief do encourage it. But there's only so much foot/bike patrol you can do with limited manpower and the highest call volume per officer in the county.
