Loaded handgun found in Columbia Crossing restroom

Columbia Spy discovered this apparently loaded - and unattended - 9 mm handgun in the men's room of Columbia Crossing shortly after 8 o'clock this morning. The Spy contacted the Columbia Borough Police Department, and Officer Miller responded promptly to investigate and handle the incident.

Whoever the owner is, he/she is guilty of gross negligence. With the kids being out of school, it could have made it's way into the wrong hands. If the owner cannot be responsible, they should not be permitted to carry. Revoke their permit, if they even have one.

Yes exactly this is not like forgetting your keys a child fishing could have found this and killed himself or someone else !! I hope they find the owner and charges are filed

Ask Mayor (Sheriff) Lutz, he should know. And he is always so honest, open, and transparent with the public regarding our police force. lol
