"Gallon Smashing" is the act in which pranksters pretend to trip and fall in a grocery store while carrying milk or juice, thus spilling it. The falls are completely fake, and pranksters trick bystanders into thinking they are actually hurt.

Food costs money...who pays for this waste? When we were kids it would not have entered our minds to do something like this. Had we tried... our parents would have smacked us into never doing it again.
