amen. maybe now is the time to report all abuse-and yes letting dogs out in the yard for the whole day and all evening til after dark IS ABUSE.why have dogs?
Some people don't have a clue how to care for a dog. Judging from all the comments, abuse is epidemic in this town. It's time for citizens to start reporting it and for authorities to start addressing it.
It's only the big stories that get attention, and not that they don't deserve it but what about the simple cases of neglect? If the animal doesn't have an arrow in its head, no one wants to help. Most cases are not that extreme but sad nonetheless. So yes we need to help through educating the public about the proper care of pets. Some people just don't know any better .
