Considering more ($200,000) tax payer money for land bank, just gave $151,000 away on 208-210 locust street, hope the borough has ink for there money printer.
It's not you, the borough website is the worst with regard to locating minutes. Crazy to embed them under ordinance or codes, seems an unlikely fit really.
why ask for bids,it is easy to spend other peoples money, and why don't they trade the old one in? So many unanswered questions, but try to get a answer at a meeting and you will be made to feel like a as-hole,should be 3 estiments with trade in built in and with out,HOPE THE MONEY TREE IS STARTING TO GROW!
THEY WANT TO DEFINE WHAT A THASH CAN IS/AND I ASSUME WITH A LID TO BE ABLE TO QUICK TICKET PEOPLE BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REC. CONTAINERS DON'T HAVE LIDS, AND TRASH HAULERS THROW THE LIDS ASIDE TO BE BROKEN OR BLOWN AWAY. SOMEONE HAD THE BEST IDEA,ONE HAULER CONTRACTED BY THE BOROUGH,COVERED UNDER OUR HIGH TAXES, ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED, MIGHT BE A LITTLE LESS MONEY FOR THE RIVER PARK, BUT WELL SPENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can someone in the borough please get the web site operating up to a elementary level, and the mayor and others wonder way the town is a laughing stock , all the people in there and they can't keep the web site up. WHAT ARE THE MANAGERS DOING???
If it were not for Cimmaron Properties setting the stage for commerce in Columbia's downtown district we would be stagnant . So do not applaud a group that has set us back with no tax reform or ingredient of downtown success.
Not necessarily a requirement for 3 estimates anymore if you go with a Co-Star vendor. It is a system that streamlines the procurement process generally at a great savings to local government. Not sure if that is what they did but just sharing what is being done by others. And the 3 estimates is only good for anything under $19,500 is what I thinkthin limit is this year. Anything above is to be bid or through pre-approved bids such as Co-Star.

Is it me or is the Columbia borough web site the worst to try to navigate, it won't go any where you want.
$99,000 for a vehicle with out putting out on bid! This was in the budget.

Not crazy if the intent is to confuse and perplex.

They would never do that. The fact that they can have all the rules in a gray area is the way they can fine you for dumb stuff.
Amen.

With all due respect - I totally disagree. It's Smoke and Mirrors
