Columbia Borough Police: Incidents and Citations

NOVEMBER 13, 2017


LOCAL POLICE HAVE BEEN RECEIVING SEVERAL REPORTS OF DAMAGES TO THEIR VEHICLES AND OR HOMES IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS. MASON M. PFLUMM, OF LANCASTER, REPORTED DAMAGE TO THE DRIVER SIDE WINDOW OF ONE OF THEIR TRUCKS AT LANCASTER CONTAINER, WHILE IT WAS PARKED ON BRIDGE STREET. IT WAS REPORTED TO BE APPROX. $400.00 DAMAGE TO THE WINDOW/TRUCK, 30 OCTOBER 2017.

A NEIGHBOR SAW SEVERAL YOUTHS JUMPING ON A VEHICLE, CAUSING DENTS IN THE HOOD AREA, IN THE 1200 BLOCK OF CEHTRAL AVENUE, APPROX. 2048 HRS., ON THE 27TH. OF OCTOBER 2017. POLICE FOUND TWO DISTINCTIVE FOOT PRINTS ON THE VEHICLE, ONE A SNEAKER AND ONE A BOOT. NO ESTIMATE OF THE DAMAGE WAS GIVEN.

DAMAGES WAS FOUND ON A WHITE TOWN & COUNTRY VAN THAT WAS PARKED IN THE 400 BLK. OF CHERRY STREET, ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR DOOR. IT WAS DENTED AND DID NOT APPEAR TO BE FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE STRIKING IT. OWNER STATED HE HAD BEEN HAVING SOME PROBLEMS WITH SOME OF THE LOCAL JUVENILES IN THE AREA. THIS WAS REPORTED 09 NOVEMBER 2017.

THE OWNER OF A PROPERTY IN THE 200 BLOCK OF NORTH 9TH. STREET, REPORTED DAMAGE TO A WINDOW THAT HAD BEEN BROKEN OUT, ON THE 10TH. OF NOVEMBER 2017. REPAIR COSTS WAS GIVEN AT APPROX. $100.00.

PERSON REPORTED PAINT BALL DAMAGE TO HIS RESIDENCE IN MALT AVENUE, 10 NOVEMBER 2017. THERE WAS PINK COLORED LIQUID ON THE HOUSE AS WELL AS A BROKEN PAINTBALL SHELL LAYING ON THE GROUND, DIRECTLY BENEATH THE IMPACT POINT. NO VISIBLE DAMAGES WERE DONE TO THE HOUSE.

A RESIDENT IN THE 300 BLOCK OF NORTH THIRD STREET, HEARD A LOUD NOISE, APPROX. 2343 HOURS, ON THE 9TH. OF NOVEMBER 2017, AND WHEN HE CHECKED OUTSIDE HIS RESIDENCE, SAW A VEHICLE SPEED AWAY FROM THE AREA, AND THEN FOUND A LARGE ROCK HAD BEEN THROWN THROUGH THE DRIVERS' SIDE WINDOW OF HIS CAR. IT WAS POSSIBLY A FORD, SUV TYPE, TAN IN COLOR. NO ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN FOR ANY DAMAGES IN THIS INCIDENT.

A SOUTH SECOND STREET RESIDENT REPORTED DAMAGE TO THE WINDOW OF HIS HOME, FROM A BB GUN, AS THE PELLET(S) WERE FOUND LAYING IN FRONT OF THE WINDOW, 27 OCTOBER 2017. NO ESTIMATE WAS GIVEN AS IF THIS TIME.

GREG L. HERCHELROTH, AGE41, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CITED 11/10/2017, AT FRONT & WALNUT STS, FOR TRAFFIC-CONTROL SIGNALS; ZLATKO ATANASOV STOYKOV,, AGE 48, OF YORK, WAS CITED FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS, AT 3RD. & LINDEN STS., 11 NOVEMBER 2017.

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS WERE CITED FOR OPERATION OF VEHICLE WITHOUT OFFICIAL CERTIFICATION OF INSPECTION, BETWEEN 11 & 12 OF NOVEMBER 2017; IVAN T. KROUMOV, AGE 57, OF YORK; ANN DALY BRUBAKER, AGE71, OF MARIETTA; LIANNETTE S. CABRERA, AGE23, OF COLUMBIA; NICOLE RENEE HEINTZMAN, AGE38, OF COLUMBIA.

CHARLES D. BIGLER, AGE 49, OF YORK, WAS CITED FOR REGISTRATION & CERTIFICATION OF TITLE REQUIRED, AT RT. 441 & RT. 30 WEST, 12 NOVEMBER 2017.

DAVID EDWRD BROWN, SR., AGE 47, OF COLUMBIA, WAS CITED FOR PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, FOR AN INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED AT TURKEY HILL ON CHESTNUT STREET, 0300 HOURS, 11 NOVEMBER 2017.

What is going on in this town what ever it is it sure is not good don't we ever caught the kids that are doing these things
