WHAT?!????

Since when do you pay the Borough a $100 fee to contest a ticket?

So due process comes at a cost of $100? How the hell is that constitutional in the least?

Is the $100 refunded or by the impartial person that decides if a violation occurred?

Will Bixler throw them out like Herman did ? , or did they get the best of him ??

As much as the borough officials would like you to pay the $100 appeal fee they can't make you and they must honor the appeal...or perhaps they are not up on various court decisions that say as much.

COUNCIL MAKES THE DECISIONS. IF YOU DON';T LIKE THEM, ATTEND COUNCIL MEETINGS...THE SECOND MONDAY OF THE MONTH AT 7 PM. YES, ONE PERSON CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. this council has got to go. we are in debt for millions and millions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

the people who complain they don't like the quick ticket system are most likely the ones who don't mow thier grass weekly nor do they remove all the trash weekly and recycle or their dogs poop everywhere and they don't clean it up or they park cars like they're in junk yard heaven. for heavens sake people, use your common sense. clean up your properties. you'll like the look and so will your neighbors who try vey hard tokeep up with theirs.
on another note.....i wish ALL downtown businesses, residences, etc would switch to OUTDOOR LED LIGHTING AND TURN THEM ON EVERY DAY AT 5 PM TIL 10 PM OR SUCH. ITS WAY WAY TOO DARK DOWNTOWN TO BE OUT ON THE STREETS... as nice as the new street lights look, they are NOT bright enough. no way.

Wrong. I'm simply not a fan of a small town government that acts like the Constitution doesn't apply to them. Due process is a thing. If you want a nanny-style environment, then feel free to move into any of the various suburbs with HOAs.
