Teresa Allen, a former market standholder and vendor representative, is now the interim manager of the Columbia Market House, sources have confirmed to Columbia Spy. Beth Troxell resigned last week as market manager.

If true, Ms. Allen is well-suited for the position. She's passionate about Columbia and its potential. She's a hard worker and is "tuned" to the needs of citizens.
Hopefully, the trust will not get in her head. Maybe she can contact the Amish community and work with them in getting some stands. They network well, and just think, with the right advertising and the opening of the river trail and building, say THE COLUMBIA MARKET HOUSE FEATURING LOCAL AND AMISH VENDORS. Tourists will be attracted to the market.
