... and why would he not? He's being told what to say by the GOP top-feeders.

Every problem is someone else's fault. Like a child.

As worthless a rep that he & most of his crony buddies are, the voters keep reelecting them.

Its time Columbia Elected officials past and present clean up the old business and promises it made to tax payers.
Our taxes are out of control.
Sure Riverfront has improved, but Columbia taxes are still going to fund part of it.
I'm still waiting on a meeting about AVENUE J BEING CLOSED TO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC that was promised in a Boro meeting.
Yes let the few nay sayers reply......
The majority should have been acknowledged.
Instead,,, the historic Ave J is still being abused.
Let's hear the negative comments come.

Rep. Hickernell was involved with the Route 441 Bypass project, as well as the new “old” lights on the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

Unfortunately, he introduced H.B. 1636: compromise legislation allowing employers to use a provider network with no time limit, under which employees must maintain medical care by the employer's chosen panel of providers, thereby limiting employees’ options. In other words, he's no friend of the working person.

Avenue J is a private drive and no one is bothered by that fact. There are several other grass alley areas in the borough that people have claimed as their own. Some were intended for use by emergency equipment, in particular fire trucks. I questioned one such area behind a house that I lived in and found out no one cared that a boat and trailer were being stored there. So if you claim it, it's yours. Avenue J has been claimed.
