DEP has been fighting with the Fish and Boat Commission and environmental groups over whether or not to list the main branch of the Susquehanna as an impaired waterway. The agency has refused to make the designation, citing a lack of solid evidence - but it has also committed a team of scientists to gather information that eventually might support such a designation.

has anyone heard what ever happened with the Columbia Water Co's request to raise their rates 21 % ??? Attended a hearing September 3 at Columbia No 1 fire co....
I was wondering about that, too. I attended the same meeting.
They were shot down!! No increase for Donald.
that was the opinion of the Judge that presided over the hearing at Cola No 1 Sept 3, 2013....but it was going to court after that and i believe they had 90 days first.
