What I Saw - 2/3/13 - Frozen hula skirts, ice aprons, snow sculptures

The receding river left behind some frozen hula skirts, ice aprons, and snow sculptures along the shore.

This morning, Officer Mann caught a stray dog that was running loose in the area around Barber Street and Route 462.  The dog eluded capture several times and also ran across the busy highway before being apprehended in Bob Snyder's yard, next to Snyder's Market.

Columbia man tries to help and finds more questions than answers

A Columbia man tried to help a mom and two kids stranded in the cold at a bus stop but got no answers or help from RRTA.

Today, I took these two shots of the pole, which is bent over and broken at the top, where the sign was removed.
But who removed it? It went missing fairly recently.
