Umpire Rich Heinick makes an announcement at the Vintage Baseball game at Janson's Park on Saturday. The Zouaves of Mechanicsburg and the Keystones of Harrisburg participated.

Bridge inspectors in three different buckets inspected the Veterans Memorial Bridge for several hours on Friday. 

As a precaution, safety fence was later placed under the bridge where inspectors had knocked loose several pieces of concrete.

There are new paintings by anndope on the entrance doors of the State Theatre Vintage Emporium, on Locust Street.

This postal relay box is partially hidden by weeds at 6th & Walnut. 

The crosswalk lines on Route 462 near 2nd Street are fading and should be repainted. Since this is a state road, state workers should do the work.

There was another vehicle accident at the intersection of 4th & Poplar. This has been the site of numerous accidents, but nothing is ever done to make it safer. The borough could start by cutting down the hedges that sit right at the edge of the road, with no setback, which block the line of sight. 

Finally, someone is collecting the wood from the damaged tree near Front & Plane.

A set of strange clouds came rolling in rather quickly just before a downpour Monday, August 10.
