On 10-15-18 the Columbia Borough Police charged two juvenile males, 14 and 15 years of age with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit Robbery for the incident at the Turkey Hill. Both males are from Columbia and were committed to the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
On 10-14-18 at approx. 1:38AM the Columbia Borough Police were called to the Turkey Hill on Chestnut St. for a robbery. The two suspects fled prior to police arrival. The suspects were reported to have come to the store from east side of the store and also fled to the same area. One of the males involved did display a handgun. The suspects took a small amount of cash and cigarettes during the robbery.
Suspect #1 is described as a light skinned male wearing blue gym shorts, black "Vans" sneakers with white laces and a black hooded jacket.
Suspect #2 is described as a light skinned male wearing light gray jeans, black sneakers with white laces and a black hooded jacket.
Both males suspects were possibly in their late teens and approx. 5'7".
The Columbia Borough Police ask that if you recognize any of the above pictured individuals or know anything about this case to please either submit a tip below or call the police department at 717-684-7735.

What a crying shame. Two 14-15 year old kids should be focused on school, sports, hobbies etc. Instead they're running the streets WITH A GUN holding up a store. This is very sad!!!

2 kids that were not good citizens hopefully getting the help they need,, on the tax payer bill,, where are the parents?? Or do they not have any??
The school is failing , go online and cut the school taxes, Columbia should be a forrunner for a program.
Publish their names, if they can commit the CRIME then they won't be ashamed to have their pictures and names posted on crime watch. Job WELL done by the POLICE DEPT. solving the case.
Seriously? The schools are failing???? How about the parents or guardians? The school is there to educate the kids, not raise them. Perhaps our taxes are so high because we have to spend extra time and resources to do just that.
I guess the school provided the gun also. Really. And 1:30am in the morning, shouldnt Mom & Dad know where their kids are?

It is not the School it is POOR upbringing by the Parents. The Parents don't care about their Children and they have no IDEA where their Children are when they leave the house.
Make the parents pay, it used to be that way, there were old enough to use a gun , so they are old enough to do time.
Do we want another Bethel street ? The parents and the two hoods should do time and community service , checked by are codes dept daily to make shore it is done.
Because publishing underage children's names is illegal.
