    Why is Amtrak on scene? The railroad in part of Norfolk Southern and falls under their jurisdiction. This is not a passenger rail.

      I'm sure you're right, but the scanner chatter said Amtrak.

      The overhead wires that were knocked down belong to amtrak. They transport power to amtraks northeast corridor.

      Some of the power lines belong to AMTRAK

      They are Amtrak's wires.
