Has anybody considered the connection of the activity [or lack of] at Colonial Metals & the passing of David Serls [owner, chairman, & COO] on June 11, 2018? His estate could be the reason behind what is happening. RIP Mr Serls!

how does ron miller feel about the 32,000 dollar fence now, a chain link could have been fixed for less than a hundred dollars!

Fresh mow job around Heritage Drive fence could have been hit by mower

The owner of a business the size and age of Colonial Metals does not pass away without a detailed plan in place for the manufacturing to continue.

Borough mower ???

The residents in the south end of town need to understand that the focus or "vision" is on the trail and the northern part of town. With the exception of code violations, they are forgotten.

The trolley isn't running south of Cherry Street. The money, your money, is being spent to beautify the business district. Bringing business to Columbia will help you. You'll have to ask council how that works.

Now I'll be told to get out of town since I'm "negative", doesn't matter if it's true, we cannot say it out loud.

In most situations you would think your statement is true but the previous statement used the word "could". If there was not a last will and testament prepared [which many people refuse to have in place for different reasons] and he was the "only" owner, legal action would be required before activity could continue. I am not an attorney so this is just speculation.

call 1-800-922-8477 to report misuse of tax money by government or boroughs!

Maybe high hit for push mower not for a zero turn or lawn tractor.

WE should bombard this agency with things like the 32,000 fence, 208-210 locust st , 90,000 study for river park expansions , 70,000 4th and locust lot , trying to give cimmeron 650,000 dollars , a councilman oweing taxs , and all the back door things that council approved over the years . lets get heat on them.

it is past time for these crooks , they have done to much damage to this town.

Yup bring in the state attorny general , to much back door stuff , mayor on down!

Yes everyone should call with all the back door deal that these people have done, strickler , the borough manager, quick ticket system, Helms deals over the years , there is so much that this towns government has done to the tax payers that heads should roll , maybe there should be some time served by some , there I so much that that states attorney will be amazed . It is time to get it done.

The borough pays for a property and gives it to the land bank and more money to fix it up , What IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE ON COUNCIL , would they do that with there own money? WE all know that answer, come on people this has to stop!

Anonymous said...

$67,000 study for play ground improvements ,these people are nutz! Get them out gezzz

Anonymous said...

I agree. I wish I knew where their money tree is maybe I could get some. So much more needs done in this town the streets are like wash boards.

SLECTIVE ENFORCEMENT AGAIN!!!!

Anonymous said...

With $300,000 to lite the state road maybe it will lite a little part of walnut st so you can see the holes.

Anonymous said...

The borough pushes the home owners around for paint , but they don't have balls to make millar or the gas company to fix there holes right. SLECTIVE ENFORCEMENT again they got this trait from Helm.

$67,000 for a study come on people ,they could have looked at it them selves , THIS council sucks at there job, but can give tax money away .

67k for park assessment. Rotary and makel where redone only a few years ago. I don't know about the other parka but i can't think of any that need updated i
Off the top of my head. Plus 67k could just rebuild every park couldn't it

Why doesn't a code person or a highway person go there at the end of every day to inspect the patches of the day to ok or no k them, they can do all the sneaky things they do to citizens , have balls and go after these guys , keep them in line, mayor pressure too , these people should work for us tax payers.
