Wow! So, it isn't just Columbia! What a scam!
Doraville is known for many things and this shouldn't startle anyone. Also, the have a militant police force compared to our (fill in the blank) bunch.
COMING TO COLUMBIA SOON , WE HAVE A MILITANT CODES DEPT, under WHO EVER IS THE BOSS OF THE BOROUGH.
For years, borough residents have complained about the weak code enforcement. Now that the Borough implemented a stronger code enforcement policy, some residents are upset with the Quick Ticket program. We can't have it both ways. We either want the code to be enforced, or not to be enforced. Though it's not perfect, the policy has been very effective. Columbia is a much cleaner and a more well kept borough. Homeowners began repairing their properties and there is a renewed sense of pride in the community. This is a new program; just give it chance while the Borough corrects the issues.
