More trees being planted at river shore

Borough workers planted more bald cypress trees along the shoreline at Columbia River Park today - appropriately enough, on Earth Day.

Good,,, Deep roots will help determine the erosion of the river bank!!!!

Or maybe the trees might deter erosion.

Why are they in the tree business and not the highway!More tax dollars wasted!!

I agree the boro has a shade tree commission that they give a lot of money to why don't they pay to have the trees planted. the highway department does alot of their work taking them away from other work
