You raise an interesting question. This is a good and necessary program, but why aren't these children getting breakfast at home? Where are the parents/guardians? At any rate, the program apparently does help poor and needy children, and that's enough of a reason to support it.

I would imagine the parents or parent of these children receive food stamps. Why are they not using them to feed their children.....just wondering?

it's lunch and i think its avaiable for ALL children!!! thank you to all for making it happen :)
