Cleaning up

Borough road crews were cleaning streets today.  Salt, trash, and other debris have accumulated after a long and trying winter. At last night's borough council meeting of the whole, Borough Manager Ron Miller said that 300 tons of "anti-skid" was applied to the town's roads this season, and that it will take a few weeks to remove it all.  He asked residents to bear with crews as they work to tidy things up.

we all could help too by sweeping up all the trash & antiskid materials in front of our homes. use a shovel & put trash in trash bag. it would also save a lot of wear & tear o the street sweeper machine. AND save on some of the dust! thank you!

Yes, everyone can help.

If the boro insists on using this dirt on the roads every winter, it would be nice if they'd rent/beg/borrow/steal a water truck to spray down the roads like they do near construction sites.

I'm surprised that little Colorado pickup that follows the Street Sweeper even runs with all the dust it is sucking in.
