This skeleton on North 9th Street is partially protected from the winter weather by a stocking cap.

Unfortunately, his left forearm didn't make it, though.

The Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church has received a $200,000 grant to restore the former Harvey T. Makle building at 230 S. Fifth St, shown above. The restored space will house the new Stephen Smith Community Development and Multi-Cultural Center.

In 2016, community leaders assembled in front of the building to denounce violence, as Columbia Spy reported HERE.

Rev. Dr. Patricia McAllister (above) is senior pastor at the AME church at 222 S. Fifth St.

On Thursday evening, firefighters responded to a call at Burger King, but nothing appeared to be ablaze.

Is he sitting down on the job?
Well, yes, but . . .

. . . he's also operating the "giant claw."
Nice work if you can get it.

And here's the result: a wall of wood.

There was a spectacular sunset on Thursday.

There's another warning sign, way out on one of the bridge piers. Two similar signs were installed near the shore line at Columbia River Park, one of which is shown below:

Earlier in the week, UGI was messing around on the 600 block of Manor Street.

Yes, it snowed . . .

A constable was in town Sunday morning.

Also this morning: Several young ladies, including the one shown here, rode scooters in the cold along Marietta Avenue. Real scooters, not any wimpy e-scooters!

Look at that - someone left a message for borough council.
