It's a clean machine.

A bird trying to get closer to God?

The big house on the hill, with a few spectators

The rocking chairs at Columbia Crossing are being replaced, because the old ones have been repaired several times and are wearing out. Residents (and others?) can sponsor new ones. Contact Hope Byers at the Crossing for more information.

Down by the riverside

Norfolk Southern still can't seem to get things straight.

Do they apply these rules to themselves?

These signs are popping up everywhere.

This bird was seen in the Manor Street area at about 6 o'clock this evening, last seen heading towards the firehouse. It's believed to be a Chinese pheasant.

Meet Sophie - ORCA's Pet of the Week

Sophie is currently available for adoption. She came to us back in December, just a little underweight but overall healthy! She is currently our longest ORCA resident.

Sophie is an approximate 1-year-old female. She is a little shy, but had really come out of her shell in the past few weeks and is now very lovey and playful. We often find her chasing her tail or other string toys, they are her favorite. She also loves to hang out by a window and watch what’s going on outside very closely. Sophie also loves to have little caves beds to take her naps in.

Sophie is very sweet and likes to be petted. She does well with other cats and has been around dogs. She is fully vaccinated and spayed.

To adopt Sophie, or for more information, contact:
