LCBC church founder apologizes for 'inflammatory' comments about Black Lives Matter

After calling Black Lives Matter an organization filled with hate, violence and intolerance, the senior pastor of a Lancaster County-based church has apologized for the "inflammatory" statement in a sermon.

"I'm sorry. I was wrong. Please forgive me," David Ashcraft, a senior pastor at Manheim-based LCBC, said in the sermon. LCBC stands for "Lives Changed by Christ."

Ashcraft voiced his criticism of Black Lives Matter during a June 14 sermon, which was broadcast online with the potential to reach the church's about 17,000 weekly attendees.

The pastor is right!
They are funded by people trying to destroy this country.
The black community gets nothing positive from this corporation.
I have no problem with a citizen saying black lives matter because they do!! But I do have a problem when they are being used by this violent group.

There are haters in BLM ..but not all.
Not just black lives matter..all lives matter to God..He would have them all seek Him! I agree with pevious comment..the funding never really helps black people..

East Donegal man charged in Columbia hit & run

NATHAN WILLISON | LNP Staff Writer An East Donegal Township man is facing criminal charges after police say he struck a 13-year-old with his truck and fled the scene last month.  Derek Scott Mohr, 28, is charged with causing an accident involving death or injury without a license, failing to stop to render aid, driving at an unsafe speed and related charges.  Mohr had been driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado through Chestnut Street in Columbia around 8 p.m. March 20 when he struck a 13-year-old boy riding a motorized scooter and continued driving, according to charging documents filed by police.  When police arrived, they found the boy with a broken leg and a cut to his forehead. If Mayor Lutz is going to accept praise for Columbia's successes, many of which, frankly, he had little direct involvement in, then he must also be held accountable for our failures.
