these elected officials should NOT be able to hold office for more than 1 term. and NOT collect 100% pension with benefits, etc that cost us millions of dollars each. i agree. time for new faces and for individuals who aren't afraid to be independent.
There are politicians that keep bring up education funding reform (act 79). Even if they could push this thru, how could they distribute this funding to 500 school districts, & not make constituents in higher funded districts happy. Currently there are districts that are paying way more per pupil than others. These of course are the higher income school districts which tend to be Republican. Do you think they will be happy that there kids will be losing resources to lower income districts. The current system has set up segregation by school district. The only way to eliminate this is to make school districts much bigger (county) so that we don't have these disparaties in school districts, plus we eliminate administration expenses with less districts. This is how states with better perfoming overall schools operate. Not having performance of the school dictated by income.
i agree to say NO to Dave. these politicians are TOO comfortable taking up space, collecting WAY too much salary PLUS all the benefits and actually are doing NOTHING at all for us. Wake up
