What I Saw - September 1, 2014

On Barber Street near Florence:
"Weeds vs Sidewalk"
For the past few weeks, the weeds have been gaining ground (concrete?).

Senior citizens walking to and from Trinity House Apartments have had to use the street.

  2. But yet the boro fines residents for weeds being out of control.

    1. The borough needs to give itself a "Quick Ticket."

  4. I've seen elderly people on scooters and using walkers along that stretch of Barber Street. How in the heck are they supposed to manage?

  7. This is more a failure of mgmt of Boro workforce. The taxpayers are not getting near enough in services for what they pay. If anything council needs to start looking at the workings of the workforce.i(if that's what you want to call it). The operations at the municipal building are so inefficient in all depts.

    1. I so agree with this view. We as taxpayers pay way too much for borough workers salaries/ health benefits/pensions to tolerate such poor services. This town should be spotless, nothing less!!!

  8. The boro must set an example, if they expect to ticket residents for weed violations.
