The 3 million dollars police force will get them!

Why are we only learning about the July burglaries a month later? Wouldn't it help the residents to be aware and alert? Especially in the summer when a window might be left open. Residents that are home could be keeping an eye out for suspicious behavior. Again, why is this only coming to light a month after the fact?

i agree. have no idea why the police don't share important info with the residents. its worse now than ever.

Funny that FOX43 released the information on Facebook and only after that did the CBPD release it. Otherwise we may have never heard about it!

i'm disappointed too...we taxpayers pay the police salaries...it's a shame they do not keep us informed...especially of robberies, etc. Mayor, what do you think?
This is a disservice to us taxpayers. Too many elderly people living alone.

You'll never hear the mayor say anything wrong about the police dept. He is way too friendly with them, instead of acting like a supervisor. This is a big problem in the municipal bldg in all dept. Taxpayers are not getting their moneys worth for the services they pay for.

it would be nice to receive pertinent info on burgleries, robberies, etc in town. it would also be nice if people would leave an outside light on...use the ones that costs pennies a YEAR to use!! i think it helps....owners and walkers, neighbors, etc. if we all turned on 1 outside light every night..it may make a differnece.

It would be nice to see the 16 police officers do their jobs! Every month all the police should be evaluated and the results be posted for all taxpayers to see.
