Students' essay contest focuses on inspiration; Columbia is included - LancasterOnline


Sen. Mike Brubaker is challenging local students to write an essay about a person who has inspired them. Students are encouraged to submit an essay of 500 words or fewer describing how an individual has influenced them in a positive way to accomplish their goals.

Mystery bird

Although I only had my point 'n' shoot camera with me at the time, I was lucky enough to get these shots of this bird at River Park on Tuesday afternoon.  I'm not sure of the species. It might be a sharp shinned hawk . . .
