Homeland Security warns to disable Java on your computer

According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, your computer is vulnerable to hacking due to a long-standing flaw in Java software.
Follow the instructions in the linked article to batten down yours until the flaw is fixed:

What Does It Mean For Columbia? - Unexpected move leaves Rapho, Manheim scrambling for stray dog control - News

State law requires municipalities to care for stray dogs found in their jurisdiction, but does not require any action with regard to cats.
The Humane League has now moved to accepting no animals from municipalities.
The newly formed Lancaster Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) plans to establish a shelter in Lancaster and to make the shelter available to municipalities.

A reminder to our constables

I would like to remind our local constables of their duties and the limitations thereof.  This information is summarized HERE.

I would also like to remind our constables of the rights of photographers.  That information is summarized HERE.

I would also like to remind our constables that in their limited capacity as law enforcement officers, they have the duty to learn the law and do not have the right to harass citizens.

Traffic lined up on 462

Westbound traffic was lined up on Route 462 for hours after the accident on Route 30.  Vehicles were diverted onto 462 at the Prospect Road exit.
