On 02/10/2023 at approximately 8:18 a.m. the Columbia Borough Police Department initiated an investigation due to a deceased person found inside a residence on the 500 block of Ave. H in Columbia Borough. This case is being investigated as a homicide.
A suspect is in custody but not being identified at this time as the investigation is ongoing. The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office and Lancaster County Coroner’s Office are assisting with the investigation.
Investigators consider this an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
