Zoning and Planning Officer Jeff Helm (above, right) talks to a worker at Clean Quarters laundromat Wednesday night about a possible ordinance violation. Wood trim was reportedly removed from the building's exterior and replaced with plastic and painted over, constituting a violation in the borough's historic district. No permit had been issued for the project, and the alterations were not reviewed by the Historic Architectural Review Board. The building is located at 207 Locust Street.

Why does codes alway wait so long to tell someone that they are in violation of what they are doing can't they see what is being done
This guy is always on ppl anout this. I know someone across from andys market that has neen waiting for approval for a nrw roof. Its been at least 7 months! His roof is open bc he mafe the worker stop in the middle of fixing it. Burning bridge did not need one tho.did they jeff helm???
Yet when I call codes about a violation nothing is done.
Codes need to be more worried about slumlords and getting them for worst violations
