Where are all these Quakers? I see lots of quackers.

Hahaha. Number one for taxes, drug dealers, and slum lords.

so if we are number one for taxes, etc., why not run for office or get on one of the boards or commissions or volunteer to help the community, oh that's right you can hide and make rude comments on here

Another negative comment from someone who has no clue about the good this town has to offer! I feel sorry for this commentators ignorance!

Just because one runs for office does not mean they will win and if they do it does not guarantee that they can change one single thing. The boards and commissions are limited in members. While I am not the person that made this comment, I do volunteer, but I do not see that lowering my taxes or removing drugs from the streets, nor getting slum lords to cooperate. Freedom of speech may take the form of "rude comments" at times, but sometimes they are the truth.

Negative comment from someone who has a clue about this town. Lived here my whole life and to say this town hasn't gone down hill is ignorance!!! Quality of life in this town is at the lowest it's ever been.

Whoop-de-doo. So Columbia is #1 on some "best of" blog site that has lists for just about anything. There is no criteria listed, absolutely no data or metadata provided, and not even a description of who runs the site.

It looks like they just randomly listed some small towns/boroughs for no reason except for click-bait advertising.

Yeah, this isn't one to get excited about, people. It's 100% CRAP.

Does EVERY comment have to be positive? If so, then you really are asking people to lie. Ignorance is continuing to look the other way in order to avoid viewing any problems.

You got that RIGHT!!

#1 in high taxes & empty buildings

the Boro MUST find a way to get rid of at least HALF of the rental properties in the Boro...which would be about 400 or more. find a way with some kind of tax incentive to turn them back into single family owned homes. THAT'S MOVING FORWARD!

Get rid of this lousy school district so that parents want to move into this town
