Agreed. Don't charge someone just because of an emotional outcry. The forensic evidence is very compelling and was able to discredit some eyewitness accounts. The police aren't always right, but they aren't always wrong either. If Darren Wilson had been shot and killed at that crime scene we would have heard next to nothing about it.
Once again the press sensationalizes these events making it a party for thugs to vandalize property. Lets talk about the poor small business owners who's places are destroyed by these outlaws. Most property insurance does not cover damage for civil unrest. Its a clause in their policies.
I saw an interesting Facebook post, it read: "Remember when OJ was acquitted (for murdering a white woman and man) and white people rioted?.....Me neither!!!"
Speaking of "DUE PROCESS" has anyone heard or read any follow up to Columbia PD arresting or charging the driver of the vehicle for our latest pedestrian fatality? I am all for "innocent until proven guilty" but there is also a need for justice to be served in a timely manner.
