I was told the project is not done yet. The lights need cleaned because they are dirty of cobwebs. Are own borough workforce will do the cleaning on tax payers money. Once again more wasted money and time! West Hempfield owns the bridge. Why don't they take care of it???

Columbia Borough routinely cleans the bridge lights and bills PennDOT for the cost.

Normal working public not invited, you will be at work. This is a public official look at me feel good ceremony.
One of the busier traffic days and time to close the bridge. How stupid and ignorant!

Really??? Why wouldn't they schedule this for an evening after rush hour or on a Saturday or Sunday? We love Our Bridge too and would love to attend. Another showing of all for them and not for Our Town. Hope boro council enjoys their party most of us won't be able to attend. Thanks council! Boo! Hiss!

i agree. WE true Columbians have lived here all our lives and love our bridge. Shame on Boro mgmt again to get it totally wrong. It would have been nice to have the dedication any evening or morning or afternoon on a WEEKEND SO WE COULD ATTEND (the ones of us that actually WORK FOR A LIVING)
