His team down a point with under two minutes left in the first quarter, Columbia sophomore guard Dominic Diaz-Ellis scored eight of his team's next nine points. The last of those was a layup to put the visiting Crimson Tide up a point at Manheim Township.
It was the fifth lead change of the night. Columbia never trailed again, eventually coming away with a 55-43 season-opening win over the Blue Streaks in Game Two of the Manheim Township Tip-Off Tournament.
Emergency responders focused around a large dark-colored Dodge Challenger which they covered with a tarp around noon. What appears to be blood was visible near the driver's side back tire.
A man who was riding his bike in the area said he rode past the Dodge Challenger right before the shooting took place and heard the gunfire when he was farther down the street.
The bicyclist, who declined to give his name out of fear of retaliation, ran back to the vehicle to help a man who got out and collapsed onto the street. The bicyclist also saw another man in the vehicle slumped over.
Detective Matt Leddy declined to say Wednesday if police were investigating the shooting as homicide. Columbia police did not provide new information on Thursday.

The Lancaster County coroner's office was called the the scene of a medical emergency, reportedly a shooting involving two people, late Wednesday morning in Columbia.
Coroner Stephen Diamantoni confirmed his office was called to the scene but said he could not provide further details. Scanner broadcast communications indicated at least two people were shot, one fatally.
According to Lancaster Countywide Communications, emergency crews responded to the 200 block of North Second Street near Bridge Street around 10:48 a.m. The area is residential, near the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge.
