Columbia High School Class of 2022 graduates
Columbia High School held its commencement May 26.

Vietnam vet wants Columbia to hang banners honoring veterans
Bob Smith proposed installing pole banners (similar to the ones shown above) to honor Columbia's military veterans.At the June 7, 2022 Columbia Borough Council Work Session, resident and Vietnam veteran Bob Smith proposed that the borough hang banners throughout town to honor Columbians who have served in the military. Each banner would hold a photo and the name of a veteran, similar to what other municipalities have done.
The project be discussed further and voted on during the June 28, 2022 council meeting.

Whatever happened to the trolley?
Columbia Borough initially purchased the trolley in early 2017 at a price of $39,900, after council voted for the purchase in December 2016. It was considered an investment at the time but lost money over the course and a few years due to operating costs and lack of ridership.
