Pa. Guard to go to DC through inauguration | News, Sports, Jobs - Altoona Mirror

HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Wolf has announced that about 1,000 Pennsylvania National Guard members have been activated to support the District of Columbia National Guard and local civilian authorities through the Jan. 20 presidential inauguration in the nation's capital.

Lancaster County supervisors leave Republican Party in wake of Capitol riots

Three members of East Lampeter Township's board of supervisors suddenly resigned from their positions this week after expressing disgust over violent rioting at the U.S. Capitol that caused death and destruction.

Lititz bookstore gives away free copies of US Constitution in wake of violence at Capitol

When the owners of Aaron's Books in Lititz saw what was happening at the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday, they decided to offer a way for their customers to learn, or be reminded of, the basis of our system of government.

Todd Dickinson and Sam Droke-Dickinson, the couple who owns the independent bookstore at 35 E. Main St. in Lititz, decided to give out the few dozen paperback copies of the U.S. Constitution they have in stock, free to their customers starting Friday.
